Guest biron_w Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) On my pulse the contacts on my sim card are slightly different to the ones on my phone. My phone ones having any newer numbers on. I've downloaded contact2sim and deleted my sim card numbers then copied the phone numbers to my sim card.Yet whenever I restart my phone my sim card somehow still has the "old" numbers on it,as if I didn't delete them and copy the new ones at all! ;) Any idea why this is?Or any way to fix it? It's doing my head in as it means I can't get all the new numers from my phone when I try and put android 2.1 one :) *edit* I think maybe it's a problem with contact2sim.No matter what I do with my sim card(i've tried deleting all the numbers then removing the battery) the numbers are always there. As if contact2sim isn't actually doing anything with my sim card! So,does anybody know of an app that will allow me to delete the numbers from my cim card so I can then copy them from my phone? Edited May 14, 2010 by biron_w

I have tried both free and Pro versions of this app but my contacts remain same on SIM. Only way I can think of is updating manually in a nokia phone and copying on sim. any other ideas?
Guest biron_w Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I had a feeling it was a problem with contact2sim. I just need an app now that allows me to change/copy contacts on my sim card.
Guest Azurren Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Ignore this if you have tried/know it's not this but are you sure google isn't syncing your contacts back every time? Try turning data our sync off and see if the problem persists. Sorry but I have no experience with sim contacts as since I got my pulse I never used it again. How did the contacts get on your sim in the first place? Can't you insert your sim into another phone to delete them? Sorry I'm not much help
Guest biron_w Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 The numbers on my sim card are from when I had the card in another phone. Wouldn't google sync the numbers from my phone to my sim card though?I'd be fine with that as it's the numbers from my phone memory that I want!
Guest eckengucker1 Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 1. Put sim in your old phone 2. Delete all contacts on your sim 3. Copy all contacts to sim 4. put sim in pulse 5. go to settings=>contractsettings=>copy contacts from sim 6. go to sync=> click contacts (uncheck it) => click contracts again (check it) now the contracts are synchronized to google. If you have contacts twice go to "https://www.google.com/contacts" delete them and do step 5/6 again.
