Guest XeNy Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 hi guys yesterday i tried to install android 2.1 on my pulse everything went good but i forgot to make a nandroid backup wich i should have done. I followed the guide from eckengucker. Everything went fine, i installed it succesfully. but then when i booted, it first shows the t mobile logo and then the android logo but then nothing happens and i waited above 10 minutes. The reason why i didnt made a backup is that i didnt now why i should do one becouse i didnt had any needful things on my phone. But now im very angry about myself. Is there anyway to get a nandroid backup ? or any suggestion what the solution could be ? peace and thank you
Guest ndot Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Your phone has been bricked, you might as well toss it in the bin. Joke you boot into recovery mode by holding red button and menu while turning on the device. From there you can clear all your caches and partion the sd card. Then restart while having the SD card removed. It should work.
Guest Azurren Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Lol that's cruel :) If you want to go back to a 1.5 build such as 1.7 vanilla or tmobile you could download it, format your ms removing any ext or swap partitions, add the rom to the root of the ms, wipe then flash from zip. Should work..
