2.1 convert fo U8230

Hey Guys!

Since the releaseday of the pulse Custon 2.1 i startet to try to convert it for the U8230 (rmb2).

im an bloody beginner on this area, so i need some help.

ive startet to unpack the boot.img and switching the kernels form the rbm2 (custom) and the r6 2.1 for pulse.

i zipped it back an flashed. then i got:

I think its an errror from the decemberupdate, because the U8230 dindt have this.

so can anyone help me ?

i'm very interested in a rom for the RBM2 as well!

where did you get these errors? do you have a "verbose startup mode" or something?

what files exactly did you copy from original rom (1.5 firmware?) to r6?

only the kernel?

i took the kernel from the r6 and imaged it with the ramdisk of the rbm2

i know it sounds stupid as hell :) ;)

Where did you get your /system/framework/framework-res.apk file from? I think that splash screen is one of the many resources in framework-res.apk.

LOL at killing all t-mobile branding. :)

And I've just realized that splash screen could be coming from /system/media/bootanimation.zip

It would be cool to replace it with the Nexus One bootanimation.zip

what way did you go, when you rooted the phone? did you have some tutorial to go after?
