Stuck at recovery screen! **SOLVED**

Hi!

I followed the steps with success, all the way to the part where the recovery application starts one the phone.

The recovery program seems to work, as it starts. But i can't navigate ! I've tried with both VOL-UP and VOL-DOWN key, and the trackball. The program only responds to me pressing the trackball, which makes the device reboot (as that is the highlighted choice).

If this issue cannot be resolved, is there a way to manually apply 'rootedupdate.zip' ?

On fastboot and HBOOT mode, you can navigate with vol up and vol down, on the green recovery menu, it is the trackball.

Did you try to remove the battery and go into recovery again to see if using the trackball you can navigate?

I will try that. But if that does not work, is there an alternative way of installing rootedupdate.zip in the shell perhaps?

That's weird, it should work.

I'm not aware of another way to install the rootedupdate.zip.

EDIT: It DID work ;) Thank you. Turns out i suck at using the trackball. It has weird sensitivity

It did not work, im afraid :D

btw, the screen is black with green text. But there's still the red triangle. Is this normal?

And im convinced there is an alternative way to install it. All the recovery app does, is to call a lot of other scripts.. Im just too noobish to find out what exactly :(
