Enabling app2sd without custom rom

My liquid had already enabled app2sd with LCR 1.3. Now the new bin 1.100.05 had been released and I want to update. There is no custom rom

for that bin now, but I want to do app2sd. Can I enable app2sd with only installing boot.img that can fit 1.100.05 and recovery 0.5.3, or I must use

custom rom to do app2sd?

Vachounay is based on 1.100.05 and supports app2sd, but some report problems with the feature (I haven't tried it). LCR 1.6 (1.100.05) will be out soon.
