Hi,

I give my Desire to flash its ROM because of it doesn't connect to GPRS of mobile networks.

1.before flashed there was written :android2.1 update1 AND after it flashed; says 2.1 update1 . Is it important ? and what's difference between them?

2. should the phone has been rooted to make it ready for flashing?

The word doesn't matter. What might matter is if your radio was updated it could introduce problems, which may be why you aren't getting GPRS.

Are you getting 3G?

Also, you don't need root for an official flash, only for custom ROMs.

No I don't get 3G, I just use GPRS and WiFi now.
