Sorry but I do not understand your question? Do you want to upgrade or unlock (decert)

your phone, or do both?

Also what country is you phone for? ie UK, Denmark, France etc?

It will then be easier to answer the question for you.

We just launched the Smart Phone here in Asia and I am having trouble unlocking the bloody Phone from my Network. I tried using this method http://lifeetc.org/unlock.php and it's not working. When I am about to enter the canary mode I see message that says card found. Is this a chip which my provider attached so I can't unlock?

What's the easier way? Most of the steps are for the European versions. We just launched ours in Asia.

Shouldn't be any different. Bear in mind it needs to be in the Canary P/MV screen to unlock. Which canary version do you have?

When I am about to enter the canary mode I see message that says card found.

Is it the SD card thats being found ?

(remember to remove the SD card during the unlock procedure)

Instructions start with

1) Switch off your phone.

2) Take out the SD Card from the side of the phone.

3) When the phone is off, press down the "record" (the button under the power button) and the power button at the same time and hold for a few seconds.
