Strange behaviour with A2SD+

Dear friends, I'd like to share my experience with A2SD and Desire, with the hope there will be some improvements in the near future.

First of all: I've rooted with r3 and installed A2SD with dalvik-cache support as soon as it appeared here on modaco. After some days I realised my Desire was out of memory, so I verified with adb if A2SD was running and it was.

Then I thought to move to another rom (I used the simple stock+root), and I tried some xda rom (not so stable), mcr r3 (too slow) and finally r2 with some htc app removed, without wavesicure and with A2SD+ built in. After some minute of panic (wifi wasn't warking) and a re-flash everything works now (verified with adb).

Now I noticed this strange behaviour: after fresh install of r2 I had 131 mb free on my int. memory, so I tried to reinstall with titanium backup everything I had before flashing. Titanium backup did the trick and installed everything (38 apps, even some big app like asphalt 5, real football 2010 and copilot live). My free memory was still 131 mb. And here starts the strange thing: I installed google earth and some further app and my memory now is 80 Mb!!! Why?

It seems like the installer decreases automatically the free memory even if it don't have to.

I know, something still must be into int. memory, and this is the same result I had with stock rom+root, but now I saw that titanium backup doesn't make theese kind of surprises.

Furthermore, if I mount the micro sd via recovery in Ubuntu and I manually copy an apk into the /app directory of my ext3 paritition my int. memory doesn't decrease and I "magically" have that application installed and working good on my device...

This is a little bit strange, isn't it?

Any ideas? Advice? Miracle ready-to-use? :)

i have a legend rooted but with an problem reconizing the ext partition

after flashing the rom it works til next boot

then al my apps are gone and the ext is not seen

any suggestions ?
