Hey, my pulse keeps rebooting A LOT randomly. I tried to install 2.1 today, but i kept getting .acore errors and reboots every few seconds. So I decided to revert back to the last stable rom, but it still keeps randomly rebooting.

Getting fed up, I reverted back to the stock update (December 09), however it STILL reboots every few seconds. I have no idea whats going on and how I can fix this.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Well the problem is I can't now, I downgraded it to the Dec 09 stock tmobile pulse upgrade, which removed the custom recovery image and everything else.

nope. Nandbackup is stored in "nandroid"-folder on your SD-card

It's not helping even when I did a nandriod backup. It's now even worse that ever, it keeps rebooting every 2-5 seconds after reaching the main screen..

thanks

I use the AmonRa recovery image but NOT flashed to the phone.

I put the phone in fastboot then created a batch file in the amonra recovery root dir on your pc, with the text:

fastboot-windows.exe boot recovery-RA-pulse-v1.5.2.img

Then connect the phone to usb and run the batch file, recovery should boot.

Or reapply the december update and go about the whole rerooting process again.

Thats what I've been trying.. again. And it still doesn't work. I don't think its software related anymore, could be a hardware related problem :/

Before the 2.1 update came out I was having similar problems using the stock firmware... so mines been sent for a warranty repair.

Try cleaning the battery contacts, on both the battery and phone. I had random reboots months ago and this fixed it.
