I've been having problems with AS ever since I decerted the phone using the O developer site.

Basically I have to reboot my laptop to get the AS to recognize the phone.

hmmm, I was wondering why all of a sudden recently, it was taking two or three attempts to get Active Syn to complete properly. I've been having to take the phone off the cradle, kill and restart the Active Sync process and then try again.

You may have something there. I'll do some testing later.............

My SPV has started behaving strange when connected to active sync through the cradle, sometimes have to re-insert it a couple of times to get it going. Through IR on my work laptop it can get really annoying, dropping connection saying the device has moved out of range, when nothing has moved at all!

I'm beginning to think this phone is like my wife, some days good, other days bad

I've had no problems with Activesync over IR or USB, pre and post update...

Activesync is notoriously unreliable at times. Try migrating an XP profile to a new domain and watch AS complain :/

I have same problem, absolutely no reason why it has started, it occurred first time many, many weeks after I had done decert. It's just like a Win98 problem no reason except just to be a pain.
