A2SD new SD?

Getting new Sd card (16gb)

waht do I do to the SD to get it to work with A2sd which i installed on my desire?

Please tell me in simple steps as i took me about half an hour to root my desire in the first place.

Is a partition necessary and if so how do you do it?

If you don't have a Linux box, GParted or something like that, I think the best way to do it is put your phone in recovery mode as per the guide (run the relative "recovery" script)

From the custom recovery boot loader select Partition, may be under a sub menu. From there select swap=0, ext3=xxxMB and fat remaining. For me 512MB ext3 was enough.

If your ROM has A2SD baked in it should use the ext partition for apps.
