im gonna use a2sd and install it while flashing mcr.

there are 2 options there in the kitchen, to install a2sd or a2sd+, what's the difference and which one i should go for?

the other question is about partitioning

i have an 8 gb sd card that i plan to use 2gb for apps, hence i partition 2gb ext3, the question is what is "swap" partition, some people have it some people dont, why should i have it or why should i not, or what is difference? :) and the rest ill just leave as fat32

Not sure - I use a different version. I assume one moves dalvik cache to your SD, the other doesn't???

That's a lot of data for apps. I used 1Gb of my 8Gb card and never even got close to half full.

The swap partition is like a paging file (virtual memory) if you're familiar with Windows. I don't know if the standard Desire kernel will even use it. Anyone know??
