Guest kavanaghdj Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Heres a very strange one. i've searched high and low for an answer. the probelm is with one particular friend of mines email address(a yahoo email address sent from outlook 2000) when they sent a email and i recieve it on the phone it's allways blank even though i have outlook set to receive the 1st 1000 bytes. then the phone just slowly grinds to a halt and locks up.. all i can do is go to the home screen but no buttons work!!!!! I have to reboot my phone and wait tilll i get home and read it from outlook on my PC. ALL OTHER EMAILS ARE FINE.. weird i wonder if i could send this email to some one else to test it out and see if they experience the same. i would be most gratefull if someone would volounteer or advise me if they had similar probelms
Guest yatpeak Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 I think you should either talk with or send it back to Orange, has anyone else tried it with a Yahoo account? Could that be it? Or you could try recieving from the same account on a different phone, if you have a friend with one. Wyatt

Wyatt thanks is fixed it ! the proobelm was that the senders name in settings /accounts emails (where u set up email details) within Outlook on the senders pc had a space before the persons name . CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.. try it and see how it crashs the SPV bit crap really!
Guest iliketoparty Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Think we have the basis for a denial of service attack on an SPV now!! Mad. Party
