Guest MaximilianWeisheit Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Hi how do i send pics from my Phone to lets say another phone via infrared? I figured out how receive pics and "beam" contacts, but how do i send pics? Thanks!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 You can't at the moment ;) Have to wait until someone comes up with the software.
Guest yatpeak Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 quite annoying, but there's always MMS and e-mail, though that's a bit troublesome and you have to be on the same network to recieve MMS. Your best bet is to wait for someone to develop the software though, as awarner said. Wyatt
Guest MaximilianWeisheit Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 WHATTTT??? even the stupid Sony Ericson phones can do that!!!
Guest Big Ron - No Longer a Mem Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 What d'you mean "stupid"? I just bought my son a T300, from Scancom.co.uk. Good colour screen, good games, MMS, free camera, free MP3 player (pity about the crap SD card reader - parallel interface, draws power from the keyboard, no XP driver... so I bought him a USB "five in 1" reader for £11 at a fair.) 32megabyte SM card (not eight... 32!) and because they were out of FM radios, they threw in a laser pointer and a blue-light torch. Cost? 99p on a £15 a month T-mobile tariff. After 3 months, I plan to switch to their (little publicised!) "capped" tarrif, where I pay a monthly flat rate by DD, and when he's used it, the phone stops working for outgoing calls until the next DD date. I'm amazed that this isn't more widely available: PAYG users outnumber "contract" customers 2:1, and according to the Consumer's Association, >60% of PAYG users would pay LESS if they swapped over and got a flat rate for "X minutes a month" rather than pay "the going rate per call". I guess that many of these PAYG phones are bought by parents for kids who are too young to enter contracts - they don't want to find that they're responsible for a £200 bill that their lovestruck teenager has just run up.
Guest MaximilianWeisheit Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 aehm, well i just express my feeling about not beeing able to send pics viainfrared and the sony ericson phones can. thats all ,-)))
Guest yatpeak Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 I'm sure someone will make one soon, it's just a matter of time. (But how much?) I must admit tat it's kind of strange that it's not a built in function though. Wyatt
