Hello.

Since most of us are using "full/semi-full" roms, with many apps and tools, with moderate memory/storage capacity... we need to choosing carefully what apps we're instaling.

So, about backup applications. What do you think, people, is the BEST backup application/program?

I have all these three (SKTools, SPB backup, Sprite) and I don't need (I suppose) all of them.

What's your opinion? Any feedback for any of them or other app?

Thxs.

A.

For what you're trying to do, I find that SPB Backup works the best. Easy to use but does the job well.

Thxs, bro. I don't need to install all these three together, takes too much usage memory.

No, I wasn't talking about contacts, sms. I know about PIM, I'm using it since I bought the i900... I was referring for a TOTAL backup, of everything (programs, visual changes, etc.)...

Resco for me. I run it off storage card and keep back-ups in the storage card too. Screw your phone up and your 3 minutes away from being normal again. And I have picked just specific files from a full back-up and restored just the file of my choice. Not a fan of automatic back-up though I keep it off.

good day.

If you're flashing frequently there's always a chance that after running a back up on a new ROM certain functions will no longer work. I recommend using My Phone to back up contacts, messages, etc. and then use either XDAUC or Sashimi to reload your programs. It's failsafe.
