Guest Muskie Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Oh, wonderful. Thanks, HTC Twitter feed for making me look like a bleeping idiot, they only posted it publically 12 hours ago! *applauds carcastically* Sorry, guys.
Guest bradley1980 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 If I'm not mistaken, Paul tweeted that he is going to work of a safer way to root Desire following the release of the kernel. Anyone here know what is the progress?
Guest robcam73 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Just tried to get this but it is not there. Have they been removed? Does someone have a copy I can get please? Thanks

Guest EddyOS Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 You don't learn do you!! LOL!!! It's nothing to install, it for developers to work with to help push Android forwards!! If you MUST flash something else (and no doubt get it wrong) then get Paul's custom kernel...
Guest Moonman123 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 If you MUST flash something else (and no doubt get it wrong) then get Paul's custom kernel... I'd just stop flashing anything at all if I were him. I'd maybe start READING everything I could find, and then READING it all again. After READING everything, he may actually learn to flash "Desire" builds to his HTC "Desire" instead of Nexus One builds. But that's just me.

Guest EddyOS Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 :D The 'LOL' at the end of mine was a dig, nothing personal... Just don't respond to anything with 'how can I flash it?' if you don't know what it does. This is for developers, something I assume you are not... Stick to enjoying the Desire and get to learn it before flashing everything under the sun. Seriously.
