Yea I heard Paul say something ages ago about the official 2.1 stopping all flashing techniques that we all use, so be careful if you do upgrade.

As was stated a few days ago, they are all still in the Google approval process according to HTC.

The Sprint Hero (and the Droid Eris if you count it) are only a single SKU for a single country, so only one approval.

There is a different SKU for every EU country the Hero is sold in, and then there are different colours and even an operator specific version here and there...

... all have to be approved and tested individually.

And more importantly, what does a custom ROM droid-eris-port have to do with the official release? Specially if I was talking about SKU's and Google approval testing?!?
