Hi all,

I'd like to map the start-menu (top-left onscreen) to mainmenu.exe ;)

Anyone has a solution for this? :)

Thanks in advance!

Why would you like to use the original samsung menu? :)

it really slows the phone down...

I'm not really 'feeling' any difference..

As soon as the mainmenu.exe has been loaded, it just pops up in no-time ;)

Have you tried the new samsung menu from daskalos SamsungCab install? Its much faster @ less RAM consumption ;)

But how to get it @ the start buttons place - I don't know..

PS: Time- and money-cost-solution: Install WisbarAdvancedDesktop, create a new theme and add a button where ever you want on your screen according to the mainmenu :)

It is possible. But you will have to get the trial version of SKTools. Plus if you want to disable it sometime again, the only method to do that is by using SKTools, so I guess purchasing the app will be a great option if you wish to keep toggling this setting. The website for getting SKTools is http://s-k-tools.com/index.html?sktools/m_feat.html

Please note that although this procedure works in JC2 ROM (and roms based on it), I cannot guarantee that it will work on every rom.

Install and run SKTools, Tap on Tools>Control Panel. Click Samsung Touchwiz. This will open the settings to enable touchwiz. Enable it and press OK. that it! Now you will get Samsung menu instead of normal start menu when you tab on Start at top left of the screen.

You can disable it by repeating the same process.

Cheers! :D
