Problem with SetCpu program

I think don't Work well on HTC DESIRE.....

I have set the Nexus one cpu and if i try to underclock nothing happens (still use all cpu disponible) and also if i set some profiles nothing happens (still work with all 1 ghz disponible)

any idea?

Doesn't work with the stock Kernel, you have to flash a modified kernel after you've rooted your phone, which supports userspace scaling.

Use the OC kernels at your own risk though.
