Guest jbrittmartin Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 updating to DC22 and reflashing... haven't been around here in a while and i'm wondering what the latest and greatest browser is. Opera (if so, what version), Skyfire, what?

Guest chopperthedog Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) UC web does take a little to get used to. Tap and hold and make sure your in "adaptive mode" and it becomes just flicks of the thumb. Left swipe go back I believe 6 pages and multi tabs too. And it goes through a Chinese server so don't do any banking. Current version that I use is V7.0.0.41 you might find it useful. You can whip through 5 sites while opera is loading #2. modaco on ucweb above. http://www.uc.cn/English/download.shtml It does have a download manager too (change default download location in settings). And you should also change page size in settings to "no". Also has tap and hold image zoom function on images. Been using since 2008, first on my i760 and now i910 from may 2009. You can even get rid of the windows task bar. Have fun. Be patient. good day. Edited May 20, 2010 by chopperthedog
Guest SStfn Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 Opera Mini, very fast webbrowser and a nice UI
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 In my opinion Skyfire is the best you can get. Me too! +1.
Guest Compuse Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Eh mostly Firefox, not the best but feels fast! oh, for our omnia's!! well i love the opera mini and the winmo based Opera the most, i'd maybe tried a way to early version of skyfire, cos it was very very crappy back then..
Guest sudkcoce Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Definitely Opera Mini, it's a god send for all of us without android/iphone.
Guest kab89 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Definitely Opera Mini, it's a god send for all of us without android/iphone. Totally agree. tried lots of browsers this is my fav.
Guest eric2k Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Get netfront 4.0 beta 2 from February 2010 https://www.access.co.jp/english/nfppc/agree_concept.html I love it smile.gif, the UI is abit dry but it works very well. Set it to full screen. IF you give it a chance i am sure you will like it. Next to opera 9.5/9.7/10 this is the next best browser. Skyfire is to slow.. panning around on it is horrible. Same with IE.
Guest amitsharma.atc Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 opera 10 is also very good n fast thanks
