Guest jbrittmartin Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) i use both on my phone. obviously i use S2U2 as the lock. presently when i get a call... the P H O N E X caller ID shows up and the P H O N E X 'slide up to answer' tab is there (it is extremely hard to slide up.... i have to slide over it many times to get it to finally come all the way up and sometimes i can't even get it to before the call goes to voicemail) i'd actually prefer to just disable the P H O N E X caller ID and answer feature if possible.... and just use the S2U2 Caller ID and slide to answer is that possible? if not, how could i get the P H O N E X to work more smoothly and not get hung up when i'm trying to answer? i'm guessing it's some sort of conflict between P H O N E X and S2U2 simultaneously trying to handle the incoming call. Guest chopperthedog Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) highlight phone tab in spam. tap phone tab in spam. You should see options icon. In general untick "use spam incoming call" In phone tab untick "auto lock incoming call window" and "display the answer/decline bla bla bla". And obviously soft reset. good day. Am I annoying you yet? Edited May 20, 2010 by chopperthedog

Similar problem here; also, sometimes, the P.H.O.N.E.X.'s full screen sound icons are "freezed".
Guest chopperthedog Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) I re read post you say you were trying to slide up to answer? or left right? good day. Edited May 21, 2010 by chopperthedog
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) I re read post you say you were trying to slide up to answer? or left right? good day. If you're talking to me, no. The answer sliding is fine; but after few minutes during a call, I want (for example) to press the speaker and none IconsoftPHONEX soft keys are working, they're "freezed". If I'll try to press them in the first few seconds, all are fine. After a minute, no... Well, I installed too many apps and the phone was too slow, so I made a hard-reset and now I'm trying to stay in minimum apps' number. Do I have to disable something, IconsoftPHONEX or S2U2 calling full screen controls? Do you think there is a conflict between these two apps? Edited May 21, 2010 by andrew.mazlim

Do you think there is a conflict between these two apps? Most of my battery and other weird issues stopped after flashing to new update DC22 stock win6.1 and not installing s2u2. But we are from different sides of the pond so other things come into play. you can read about my cleaning experience if you wish. http://www.modaco.com/index.php?s=&sho...t&p=1280775 good day.

Well, we're agreed. But I love that new visuals in "JN Foundation" WM6.5.x roms and I don't really like to go back to 6.1s, even though I think too..., 6.1s are far more suitable to our i900/i910s! Btw... THAT TWEAK you wrote for that stupid 2'' ring delay... is it working???? I tried quite some other users' tweaks and nothing changed.

Oh yeess. One of the first tweaks I did in april 2009 when I first got this thing. Missed way too many calls. As long as the i900 has that entry. Do it. good day

Am I annoying you yet? brilliant once again :D how could you be annoying me when you're so full of useful information. thanks again. am i annoying YOU yet? haha oh no? well how about this then... when i call my voicemail through P H O N E X is there a way to delay the in call dialer lock a few more seconds. i don't usually have enough time to type in my PIN before the screen locks. maybe a registry hack or something where i can extend it?
Guest chopperthedog Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 There are a couple of registry edits introduced in the latest version HKCU\Software\Iconsoft\Spamex\Options AutohideTimer = When you end a call determines how long dialer remains on screen. I use (500) I want it gone after a call. AutolockTimerLong = Time it takes to relock after unlocking during in call (does not apply to keypad). AutolockTimerShort = Time it remains unlocked after first placing call. Try different settings to suit your needs. Make sure you close spam before editing registry and soft reset is not required. To close spam highlight phonepad tab/ tap phonepad tab/ hold exit button for 1 second or till pop menu appers to exit application. Now you can edit registry. good day.
