i am sure its not as bad as it sounds but if your phone is truly dead and wont switch on, be a good time to send it back because if you cant get it to turn on, they may never know you have tampered with it, and probably be easier to send you a new one than take it apart to see what the problem is. on the other hand probably not related but sometimes if you dont push the usb into the plug hard enough it doesn't connect and charge happened to me once before.

dreamdealer i've push the connector correctly! if it doesn't switch on, they can't see my root and similar and the warranty is valid? are you sure? i can buy first another battery but i don't think the problem is it

I am not 100% if they will or not but I don't see why you can't try. Just don't tell em what you did worse they can do is send it back and say no.

The radio ROM flashes itself during the reboot next to the in-recovery operations. Your Desire wasn't "blocked", it was updating itself.

So betalaga, you've just interrupted the radio ROM flash procedure by pulling out the battery while updating. That wasn't indeed a good idea, now we all know what happens.

Sorry for that.

Its proberly safe to just send it back, Just say you were updateing it from a OTA update but dropped the phone and the battery fell out, and now its not working. That should get ya a straight swap.

 worth a try
