Guest betalaga Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 hi, today i have install radio update (i have follow this post http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...&p=1254167) after the procedure, the phone asked to restart and there are in the screen two arrows round and the phone was blocked. So I removed the battery and replace but now the phone will not turn on. if I put it on charge LED doesn't light sorry for my english, i am despairing

So I removed the battery and replace but now the phone will not turn on. if I put it on charge LED doesn't light sorry for my english, i am despairing i am sure its not as bad as it sounds but if your phone is truly dead and wont switch on, be a good time to send it back because if you cant get it to turn on, they may never know you have tampered with it, and probably be easier to send you a new one than take it apart to see what the problem is. on the other hand probably not related but sometimes if you dont push the usb into the plug hard enough it doesn't connect and charge happened to me once before. So betalaga, you've just interrupted the radio ROM flash procedure by pulling out the battery while updating. That wasn't indeed a good idea, now we all know what happens. Sorry for that.

Its proberly safe to just send it back, Just say you were updateing it from a OTA update but dropped the phone and the battery fell out, and now its not working. That should get ya a straight swap. :rolleyes: worth a try
