Almost a fully working CM6 port, AWESOME!!!

Didnt we just replace the sensor libs with the one from the official UK upgrade? (correct me if i am wrong)?

The bluetooth and the camera are of no real use to me but the wifi and gps problems are a bit annoying. What can we do to fix these? (besides netcfg)

If there is something i can do to test or just poke around, please let me know,

Cheers

Wifi works perfect. The only problem is it uses the wrong MAC address. I don't know how Huawei was setting the MAC, the ar6000 driver doesn't allow the MAC to be changed after the driver is loaded. The Wifi MAC is always the BT MAC -1, so the way I was going to fix it was to patch the firmware file on first boot with the correct MAC. For that to work the program needs to be able to read the BT MAC, so BT needs to work. hcitool won't list the BT device at the moment, so I doubt my program will work (it reads the MAC in the same way hcitool does).

So we can go and hack some wifi, go home, reflash 2.1 and when the cops come, show them the real MAC address and say, "Well, the AR6000 driver doesn't allow me to change the MAC address", then watch them slowly walk away, even if they still think it is you...

Tom, how the GPS bug is reproducible? It never rebooted for me while turning it on/off using Froyo.

Turn it on again. :)

On - Off - On again - reboot.

I'm having trouble getting onto flibblesan's server. Once thats sorted out I will upload the rom.

I remembered another bug. The wifi signal strength, ap mac, etc doesn't work. I can fix it, I just haven't yet.

Wow, really :( Maybe I didn't recognize it because I flash the system more frequently than I use GPS ;)

The signal strength works I guess, it was an old problem and there is a fix (at least in FLB2), I don't remember how it happened to be fixed.

Do we need the Market fix again? Or just install GApps?

So everything Wifi doesn't work, we can only connect? OLOLOL! I'll still use it.

Can overclock and SWAP work with it? That is the only thing that would put me off.

Market works. It uses an N1 key.

Wifi works, it just reports garbage for signal strength, connection speed and ap address. The fix I used in the other froyo rom was a modified wpa driver, but I haven't put it into CM6 yet. At the moment it is just reseting the rc from the call after it fails so wpa_supplicant doesn't fail.

Overclock and swap will work, just as they do in the other froyo roms, but I haven't included them. Compcache is on, I don't think JIT is.

Does the Pulse have a front camera?

Unfortunitely I think that one is going to be very difficult to fix. I think it is a problem with a change in the ril interface. I'm hoping that a combination of some files from another device might help, but probably not. The other option is to try and port the eclair interface into froyo. More investigation is needed.

The pulse does indeed have a front camera, on top right of phone, you can access it by choosing secondary camera in the camera app settings. Its not the best quality but ok for using with qik etc...

IS the FROYO for the pulse done ?PLEASE tell because if it is done I will install it on my F***ING PULSE

Check the Cyanogen Mod 6 thread. Possibly the best Froyo ROM and has bugs on the second post.

Enjoy.

There is only fastboot method for froyo for now. Patience is a virtue. Be calm, It wont be long now...

Why swear?

If you want it to be done, do it yourself, if not, be patient and wait for others to work their magic and get us a Fro-yo ROM
