Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 I was wondering if anyone bought this program!? I really want ICQ on my SPV, are there any other alternatives!?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 imov .. ummm >>Click Me Check it out, I use ICQ and AIM a lot more than MSN ... so I'm really interested! But still too cheap to buy a proggy that might be useless *innocent look*
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Doesn't appear like anyone uses this proggy! I bought it *cheer me* .. and set it up .. and if anyone knows anything about jabber please contact me! The only server I can log onto is jabber.org .. and that one doesn't support AIM, ICQ etc etc *duh* Oh well .. off to find the right server!! Edited: WOoHOo - nevermind!! I figured it out! Sweet program!
Guest skimask Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 I just checked out the Imov messenger website, doesnt say anything about having to pay for it, seems brilliant because you can access yahoo messenger as well as AIM and ICQ. Only one problem tho, the link to download the smartphone version seems dead! Hope it starts working soon...

Only one problem tho, the link to download the smartphone version seems dead! Hope it starts working soon... It does say on their sub-page that describes the smartphone version more closely ( http://www.movsoftware.com/products/imov/s.../smartphone.htm ) the following: Buy imov Messenger Enterprise Edition for the Microsoft Smartphone from Handango
Guest Coolboy1982 Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Also the link that doesn't work is to a htm page unlike the links to exe files for the free versions for other platformsm, so there was probably just supposed to be a page with a short info and a link to Handango
Guest skimask Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 i think they've got two versions for each platform, one's free without technical support and the others the enterprise version which you have to pay for
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 Well I bought me a version, and I like it a lot! It's great to have my ICQ on the phone! It's a great alternative to MSN - sooo if you use ICQ and AIM I would difinitely get it!
Guest shdwkeeper Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Here is the difference between the the version you have to buy (Enterprise) and the basic version. If you have a MS Smartphone you need the enterprise edition, its the only version that supports the MS Smartphone. http://www.movsoftware.com/products/imov/e.../enterprise.htm
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 LoL! Now if only Trillian would make an app for the SPV! I'd be everso happy! This imov works all fine and dandy .. but the contacts on my spv looks aweful .. and I can't edit in their nicknames, so it looks crap! I should take a snapshot of it .. cause it's kinda hard to explain!imov.jpg
Guest Crispy Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I just checked out the Imov messenger website, doesnt say anything about having to pay for it, seems brilliant because you can access yahoo messenger as well as AIM and ICQ. Sure, but check this little page. here ... the thing is ad-infected!
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I wonder if I'm the only one in the whole wide SPV world with this program :?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 21, 2003 Report Posted April 21, 2003 I solved my own problem *pat self*! I downloaded a desktop jabber client, logged on and added my contacts/changed the nicks of the already existing contacts! And voila, now it looks dishy on my SPV! Gotta luff this app! Morf
