Guest stef00 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 I updated yesterday to MCR r15 all smooth as always.. Then I decided to try CM 5.0.6 so I: - boot in recovery - wipe - install CM from SD card all smooth, I can boot in CM and it runs great Then I decided to re-flash MCR r15 so I: - boot in recovery - wipe - install MCR r15 from SD card but this time the N1 is stuck with the boot animation, stuck for like half an hour or more furthermore if I try to do a Nand restore it gives me the following error: <Error : run 'nandroid-mobile.sh restore' via adb> I wiped the and re-installed MCR r15 a few times but no way to get past the boot animation Interestingly I can re-flash CM 5.0.6 and boot with no problem Am I stuck with CM? can anybody help? I am relatively new and I have not been able to find a solution (bu the way I am not sure how to tun the Nand restore from adb I don't know what adb is yet...) any help super appreciated Thank you!
Guest Jonnyw2k Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Could be a corrupted zip file, try re-downloading the file and starting again.

If that's the case it would be strange as I checked the md5 and it maches and it did work the first time, it's only when switching back from CM that I get stuck but the first time I installed the MCR r15 it did work thanks for the help!
Guest stef00 Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Just in case someone bumps into the same issue, I figured out what it was basically I was trying to nand restore with low battery that's what was giving this error: <Error : run 'nandroid-mobile.sh restore' via adb> once replaced with fully charged battery everything went flawlessly including updating to MCR r15
