OK I'm willing to give that a go but I have no idea what it means. Can you give me the idiots guide please? ED
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Download a registry editor (Resco is an option), then go to the folder TOUCH, located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/. Then click on CalibrationData and you`ll see some values. Change them to 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872 and save. You can also try this: copy THIS file to your phone and istall it. It`ll do the above. That`s it

ED What ROM are you using? If you are still on the stock rom and you experience looping calibration after hard reset, I think you need to have your digitizer replaced. If you are on a custom ROM, try flahing to a different ROM and if the problem still persists, digitizer replacement is the way to go.

It has improved the situation by 95%, the bottom left of the screen is still fractionally of but that should be ok. Time for Omnia to go bye bye, I'm a happy Android user now. ED
