So now, it's only a matter of time before it's ported to the Desire right? Paul, this can be ported over to the Desire right?
Guest Need_A_Username Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 I really hope so! Can't wait to have that super fast piece of software on my Desire
Guest EmDzej Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Yeh... it's a big "advantage" of having super duper High Tech Corp device... no possibility of doing what you want with your phone, and need to wait years for update... I still prefer desire to nexus as of hardware, but HTC's policy goes on my nerves agin. Such companies should cooporate with google to release updates asap. And one more thing - they should provide users choice between vanila OS and bloated one (with sense)... Should have bought n1...
Guest jdouce Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 some one dump the rom and get us a port please please please

Guest abc27 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 i think it's not ture the pics have been PS Well you're wrong. It's been confirmed by Google and many more now are posting on twitter. Engadget have confirmed it as well.
Guest 42turkeys Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 As soon as some devs get hold of the update.zip, it will be only a matter of hours before we all get some FroYo!!!!!!! :D :( :(
Guest staba Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Well you're wrong. It's been confirmed by Google and many more now are posting on twitter. Engadget have confirmed it as well. Don't they need the source to be released first? So they can build in the Desire changes or something.

Guest Jeppfi Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 (edited) You realize that it's Google that give updates for the Nexus One, not HTC? Edited May 22, 2010 by Jeppfi
Guest Snarkasm Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Just sayin'. If you own an N1, you have a super-duper High Tech Computer phone. HTC takes the time they need to make sure Sense works with everything. If you didn't want to wait for updates, perhaps you should have thought ahead when purchasing a Sense-based phone.
Guest abc27 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 The link you've all been waiting for android.clients.google.com/packages/passion/signed-passion-FRF50-from-ERE27.1e519a24.zip
Guest atconc Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Paul just replied to me on twitter saying eta for a desire port is next week, so just need to be patient for a few days I think
