Not interested in A2SD - is MCR worth the effort?

Subject line says it all - am looking for some recommendations and thoughts from those who ran rooted stock for a bit and then moved to MCR sans A2SD. Is there that much of a big performance increase to make it worth me going through the pain barrier of wiping? Bearing in mind that I've modded my stock with Richard Trip's undervolted/overclocked kernel, hacked my hosts file to block advertising cruft etc on t'interweb, and installed a bazillion apps most of which I would probably re-install. Will MCR give me anything that's worth having to set that lot up again?

Honestly? No, it's just a bunch of apps and tweaks available without it and that you can install yourself, I don't even use half of the stuff in it but it had A2SD and busybox and didn't want to go through the hassle.

Ah, yes, I forgot, I set up busybox as well. I just didn't know if the performance tweaks were worth the effort of a wipe. Bearing in mind that the Desire is a lightning quick beast even on total non-rooted stock, and I'm running nice and fast with the overclocked kernel now as well, I think I'll give it a swerve until Paul comes up with a Froyo rom

Simply NO, not until Froyo port is done. I prefer stock 2.1 ROM to any other 2.1 ROMs (tried them all).
