Action Button Problem

Hello,

I got my SPV last friday and let me tell you: i'm in love with it. I only have 1 problem with the action button. When I press it it doesn't do what it is supposed to do. It doesn't "enter". It goes up and down. Every time I need to confirm a del. it does do it. It is driving me crazy.

Does anybody else has this problem?

Are you pressing it correctly!? :lol:

If there is a problem then do a hard reset! Dont think it will work though as it might be a harware fault. You might as well try this before you send it back to orange and get a replacement handset!

My tanager does this, and it's a hardware fault :lol:

Get a hardware replacement...

Thanks for the quick re. Tomorrow I'm going to the orange store I bought it at and ask for a replacement. It really is innoying because instead of deleting something or selecting the option I want it just gets me crancky.

Maybe it's a finger problem because my fingers are just frankfurters :lol:

Hi,

I had exactly the same problem the day i got my SPV, it's because the

kepad is out of alighnment, I just kept pressing the up key and the

action key really hard till is stoped doing it.

This happened to me last Thursday, posted here Orange sent me a replacement the same day.

The button is actually stuck on so DO NOT try a hard reset with the storage card in or you

will lose all the data on the card as the phone will try to format the card.

I know as I lost 128MB of stuff and still sorting out the card now :(

but it did enable me to clear all the crap out though ;)
