Desire camera on froyo 2.2?

Has anyone tried to use the Desire camera on froyo 2.2 yet?

Has anyone tried to use the Desire camera on froyo 2.2 yet?

I installed the lastest desire camera release (r2 I believe) and got stuck at the bootscreen. Had to do a nandroid restore to get it working again.

same happened to me.... I believe it's some framework that needs to be present, but not in the stock rom.....

Last week I asked the same question on the MCR r19 post, and I was told that Paul wasnt able to implement the Desire Camera App because the Froyo Source code had not been released.

Looks like that the Froyo Source Code has just been made public 2 days ago:

Lets hope that the Desire Camera App, comes soon to the Froyo Rom in the Kitchen :-D

Gee, thanks for that marvelous answer of yours, I suppose that since Paul has family and a life, he is the MAIN MAN in this website PLUS low lifes like both of you and me rely on Paul to bring new rom releases, thats why both of you also keep sticking to your computers posting responces to this forum.
