Overclocking

Had lightspeed and setCPU on my 1.5 Hero and got loads of speed out of it, loved it infact.

So then I think I'll try a 2.1 ROM, and of course lightspeed and setCPU don't work with 2.1

Any ideas how I can over clock this bad boy? Using RaiDroid

Great stuff, I didn't get Villain running when I tried installing it so opted for RaiDriod ROM instead.

Will give that kernal a look

I'm using Legendroid with Legendary Ben22 Kernal and Autokiller set to Aggressive, So it's a Performance beast and without Overclocking the processor.

I've not gone too crazy, just 688Mhz. my Hero absolutely screams along now :rolleyes:

Thanks - I'm using Raidroid with this kernel now, and when combined with JuiceDefender, should help extend my battery life (by reducing the screen-off speed with overclock widget).

Is it possible to install this kernel with AychTeeSee's Vanilla Cupcake rom?

I tried using spare parts to set task killing to aggressive, and it killed Sense the whole time, which slows it down. . . Are there any ways of adding exceptions?

Use 'AutoKiller' that's the best!

I don't see why not - I'm using it with Raidroid, but do a nandroid backup, install it, and roll back if it doesn't work :(.

But that is a 2.1 rom and the one I'm using is a 1.5.
