Guest PaulW21781 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 I use it aswell. It's also handy, as it mounts the ext partitions on the SD Card so I can browse them on the laptop :rolleyes: As long as its unmounted properly before you press the optical joypad, I can't see it being an issue tbh...
Guest afiorillo Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) That note in the first post was added in the early days of "usb bricking" investigations, when it seemed that using that feature caused some of the issue. After a few days that theory was confuted by new stories. So, if your recovery console is acting normal (no flickering, no multiple-tries in order to have it launched on the device, no hang-ups), just use it with confidence. The only feature that is known to cause issues is trying to restore a nandroid backup, mostly if the "ext partition too" option was selected. Edited May 25, 2010 by afiorillo
