Guest Alcarne Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 How do I stop people trying to penetrate me? No but seriously - I have a Bebox which is Thomson.
Guest ogiogi Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 How do I stop people trying to penetrate me? No but seriously - I have a Bebox which is Thomson. Try using a MAC filter as an addition to WPA/WPA2
Guest Lord_Shaithis Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 Thompson TG585 here.....Penetrate can't reverse me it seems.....whether its the firmware (8.2.23.0) or the fact my password would not appear in a dictionary file, I am not sure.
Guest Azurren Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 Dictionary is far to large for me to download on 2g.. Cant get 3g.. No internet (although annoyingly there is a speed touch next door) QQ I've been without proper internet for far to long
Guest davos1 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 The way this works, is by finding out the default WPA password based on the units SSID. If you have a Thomson/Speedtouch router, just change your WPA password (and your SSID if you want) and you'll be fine.
Guest Samlock Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 Though I probably shouldn't offer advise on how to get in, I'll offer two words. Backtrack 4.
Guest not so humble german Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 How do I stop people trying to penetrate me? No but seriously - I have a Bebox which is Thomson. change the key.
