Problems with Modaco 3.2

Hi!!

Yesterday I installed the new 3.2 ROM. It is much better than 3.1 and faster. But I have som problems. Even that I don't allow data connection and edge or 3g internet connection, it still connecting and updating. All that time that connect, doesn't show that the internet is connected, but is downloading information. So to get it quit with it, I have to connect and so disconnect. After this, if I turn on WIFI and got really connected to WIFI, the Hero doesn't want to surf, and everything is returning the message "Unable to get the connection".

If I reboot the cell phone, the problem start again.

Somebody help me!

No, but I already have the last.

Should I do it again after I updated the rom?

Yes you should always do that after a room upgrade !

Not true!

He can use a lot of ROMs without updating a radio. There is no any special need doing this except some personal preferences.

So, for the topic:

This is a common problem when you come straight to 3.2ROM. Put 3.1 and then update 3.2 over it. This should help.

must admit I never had that issue, I would recommend doing a nadroid backup, wiping the phone and applying 3.2, once done, re-update the radio, let us know how you get on whatever method you try

I came from 3.1

But it work with installing again the radio. I don't got any problems no.

My experience ....

Coming from 2.1, and going to 1.5, = Flash Radio update (flashed the same 2.1 radio version, i´vd flashed before)

Going from 1.5 to another 1.5 = Flash Radio update (flashed the same 2.1 radio version i´vd flashed before)

Going from 1.5 to 2.1 Flash Radio update not nessesary. (if your Radio is a new one)

It happen again.

The phone held my awake almost whole night, the 3G and s3G get connected and all mail that came in wake me up!

If nobody now have to fix it, I will go back to HTC 2.73 ROM.
