Need help getting WM 6.1

I got my b7610 preinstalled with WM6.5

I want to install WM6.1 in it as WM6.5 is laggy..

Please help me get the files of Latest Official WM6.1 for B7610

Language: ENGLISH

Hi Abubakr,

I had the same idea as you after I have bought my phone about 2 Month ago.

WM6.5 has not more lag than WM6.1! It only seems to be because of the Samsung UI and Apps.

WM6.5 has a better Memory Management and less Battery Consumption.. (for naming some advantages)

If I were you, I would try a custom ROM of your choice out of this Forum and try WM6.5 (or WM6.5.x) on your B7610. You will be amazed how fast your phone could be :D

I really like to try out the custom ROMs available here.. but I'm afraid to do so.. I just need more time to gain more knowledge about flashing this phone.. I used to flash NOKIA but WinMo is new for me.. Really liked my b7610, don't want to mess it up..!

The custom ROMs here are tweaked and most nice features of this phone are deleted I guess.. e.g. Dailpad features etc..

Also I read that WM6.1's camera quality is better than WM6.5's..

I understand what you are saying and I appreciate your suggestion..!

Once I become good with the Uncooked ROMs.. I will surely go for the Cooked ones in future..! (:rolleyes:)

OK, I'm with your thinking...

Perhaps you can find some time and read THIS Thread. Here are lot of Information collected about your B7610 and a flash tutorial as well.

You are right - before flashing you have to know what you will do.. But it isn't as complicated as you might imagine :rolleyes:

If you plan to flash, read the threads about the ROMs carefully and decide which one fits best to your wishes..
