Guest 325i Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 On the music player on the.phone, it includes all the sound files for the asphalt game. Is there any way to remove these files from the music player but still keeping them on the SD as they are needed for the game?
Guest 325i Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Found the solution on the web. Really good tip if anyone has similar issues. Browse to your SD Card (USB Mount, Card Reader, ASTRO etc) then find your SatNav voices folder. Rename that from "voices" to ".voices". In other words just add a period in front of the folder itself. That will basically hide that folder from Android and whatever inside it is hidden. Good tip that for those who want to er... Keep sensitive media in too

Guest ksolheim Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Instead of renaming the folder, I would create a empty file in the folder containing the audio files named ".nomedia" This causes the music player to ignore the audio in that folder.

This seems a much better option to me. Thanks. **EDIT** Unfortunately, it doesn't seems to work. I created the file .nomedia in the /sdcard/gameloft/games/asphalt5/ folder, but the .OGG files are still showing in Music app, even after a reboot. Is there a way to "reset" the Music app library? **EDIT2** Never mind, it works. :D Just wait a bit and the catalog updates itself. Edited May 26, 2010 by afiorillo
