Guest EddyOS Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 (edited) I know that the rooting method gives you a rooted stock 1.15.xxx.x ROM but can you do the same with the 1.21.xxx.x ROM that's be leaked? Someone on XDA has asked and wasn't sure if it can be done... Edited May 26, 2010 by EddyOS

Someone on XDA has asked and wasn't sure if it can be done...+1, I'd really rather stick to the stock rom. Too many bugs and freezes with custom roms. Paul, would it be possible for you to release an up to date rooted stock rom (including last radio too) ? Many thanks in advance !
Guest afiorillo Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 [...] Too many bugs and freezes with custom roms. [...] ?? That sounds weird. MCR r3 is a rock to me. Perhaps you should flash it after a full wipe and have another try.
Guest EddyOS Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 I've got no issues with MCRr3 I was just wondering as to why Paul hasn't updated the stock ROM with root to the 1.21.xxx.x ROMs...

Guest EddyOS Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 They are, but someone on XDA just asked for the stock ROM with root access. Paul has a stock kitchen on 1.15 so was wondering if he'd set one up for 1.21 That's all
Guest xTc is loVe Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 I thought MCR2 and later were based on 1.21.... no? Ig u install the testimage for bootloader 0.80 u will have a rooted 1.21 ROM WITHOUT Superuser.apk but u can use root ;-)
