Guest mont0 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 hi, i'd like to use eclair with openvpn, iptables and some other linux stuff like that. In order to do this i need some kernel modules to be loaded (tun, netfilter,...) and of course they are not loaded and shipped by default (of course). So, where i can find the kernel source? I think that these modules are far from being patched from acer, i want to try at least. So if no source are around i can take a vanilla kernel and compile the modules which i need. Which is the right version? 2.6.29 is quite generic, are there any additional info about that? Thanks a lot
Guest android76 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 (edited) Acer hasn't release Eclair source yet you have to take vanilla kernel  I have 1.100.05 and the kernel version is 2.6.29 Edited May 27, 2010 by android76
Guest mont0 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 As far as you know is right what i've told (get vanilla, recompile and push modules)? should it work?
