Guest rob.m.clarke Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Hi, I originally posted this in the 2.1 Vanilla thread but it got swamped by the release of v8. I have the v7 vanilla ROM on my pulse but when I plug it into my PC it doesn't recognise it any more and I can no longer see the device under "adb devices". Looking at the USB information I see that the device information has changed USB\VID_12D1&PID_1502&MI_00 It used to be PID_1501. Any suggestions?

Guest Roman Kapl Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 You should be OK, if you rewrite the vendor id in your udev rules or in your .inf file. However there is also second problem with this ROM. Official ROMs do not report serial number - adb will work most of the time, but you can not use it eg. in Eclipse app development.
