Anyone want to swap htc desire for their nexus 1

As title really,

I want to start doing some more android app development and want to have a google phone that will always get the latest updates as quickly as possible.

I got the desire about 2 months back and it has seen light use. Been in a soft slip case its whole life. I am based in norwich if anyone wants to meet up for a trade. If you are too far a way then we may be able to come to some sort of agreement.

Good luck with that mate. I dont think there is anybody willing to trade the Nexus for a desire with those USB bricking problems.

Oh... Didnt realise that there was an issue. Bugger! Its never been flashed or anything like that if it makes any difference. Cheers for the heads up though. Saw a thread from a month or so ago and there were a few people wanting to trade so I was a little surprised no-one had replied.

Cheers for the suggestion but the only other android phone that interests me is the N1. I love the desire but would just like the ability to pop the latest OS on there as soon as its released. The N1 fits all my needs, just not that keen on the acer.

Sell Desire on eBay -> £380

Buy N1 from Google US -> £360 ish

Maybe pay taxes -> £60 ish

Your finding that there is a mass exodus of people selling their desires and going to the N1 due to HTC's notoriously slow upgrade procedure..... And to be honest, i dont think the desire will be supported beyond Froyo,

It will never get Gingerbread;(

So i sold my desire for 350 and just topped up to get a N1, no bother;)

Same here, but I only got £320 for the desire (not through ebay to save on fees), but got a nexus one for £330 from cex.co.uk

BTW, Desire's USB bricking issue is fixed now.
