All HTC Widgets Disappeared

Hey all,

Bit of a strange one, it seems all of my HTC widgets have disappeared. I don't really use any of them but just went to add Friendstream and found it wasn't there (although the app is installed and working), on closer inspection I noticed all HTC branded widgets had gone.

I have restarted my phone but no luck, the only thing I have done to my phone is root it using the Modaco guide which went without a hitch.

Any ideas?

Did you use mybackup to restore your phone after root? This got rid of all my HTC widgets when I restored my home screens. I wiped all the data from the phone using the recovery console and then restored everything with mybackup except the home screens and viola, widgets back.

is htc sense running ?? if not thats your problem :rolleyes: if so well i dont know :D

Worked it out now. I just had to clear the HTC Sense application data, which annoyingly reset all of my home screens back to factory but restored the widgets too. Could well have been because of Mybackup after the root.
