I have downloaded the program - opened Active Sync and gone to Add Programs, install appears to work properly but the program does not appear on the phone. Have tried to install three times with the same result. Any ideas? :?:

If ActiveSync cannot install an application because your device wasn't connected, it will try to install it again the next time you do an install. Do you remember trying to install this app? Do you have a PocketPC and have tried & failed to install the app onto there. I have had this happen just after I got my SPV. Quite interesting if it has managed to install it on your SPV. Have you de-certified your phone?

Guest Bazz Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 If it's a .exe then try running it from your PC. It probably installs it on the phone for you rather than having to use ActiveSync. It's been so long since I installed it I've forgotten...
Guest mww Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I used to have an IPAQ syncing with this PC but no longer - there is no trace of PacketVideo on the PC so I have no idea where that is coming from. Re install - I am running the .exe file from the PC and when I do so it; 1. extracts the file 2. installs to device 3. updates settings However on install the SPV shows the above message (Packet Video) and All Explorer does not appear on the SPV. I have deleted the original All Explorer download and downloaded it again, :x but still get the same result...........confused as.....
