T-Mobile Hungary just tweeted that the 2.1 update is available for Pulse. Pulse Mini is not available in Hungary yet, so those who have the standard Pulse (8220) can give a try!

The link for 2.1 update page (available in Hungarian only): http://www.t-mobile.hu/lakossagi/keszuleke...elefon/pulse_21

Google translate link for lazies: here

I have yet to test it, but it seems its a 2-part update process, the 2nd should be optional only for Hungarian localization. If you download the zip file, you can see the main update file is /dload/UPDATA.APP.

Enjoy!

PS: there was a hiccup yesterday when they posted the ROM, it was for the Pulse Mini - this lead to major disappointment after the rush to flash it. Thanks for the feedbacks on twitter, they already replaced with the correct ROM. It seems english and other languages are included just like in the beta ROM.

Is this the real deal?

Can I go back to December update if I don't like it?

Yes. Just maybe in Hungarian

Anyone who install this, the first thing you should check is if you can still flash system or boot images using fastboot. If that's disabled, it could be a big issue for any future custom roms.

I'm unable to try it now, battery is empty. But I'll try it as soon as it charges.

For the first ones: SCREENSHOTS PLEASE!!!

depends on if we can still fastboot and use the recovery, if we can technically it just copies the files to the partitions that the folders are in so it will most likely be possible to use 1.5 custom roms
