Custom Ringtones

So I want some MP3s as my ringtone.

I've search on the net and found I should put them here:

/media/audio/notifications

/media/audio/ringtones

or

/ringtones

/notifications

on the SD card.

Neither has worked. Any other suggestions? Or apps to help?

Open the music app, long press the desired task and select use as phone ringtone.

As for the notification tones I use an app called ringdroid, "edit" the desired track, and save as a notification. Then, when promoted, set as the default notification.
