Sorry for screenshots in Chinese....

Known issues:

original boot.img will not enable the touch....(that means touch won't work, so I used the pulse 2.1 instead)

hardware buttons seem not correct (power button won't light the screen to unlock... I just unplug and plug the usb to light the screen...also double press of menu won't work)

wifi not work; although there is signal for network, however I never successful to dial a number... since when I press the number the dialer software quit...

no vib, since I didn't flash the firmware, update by update.zip

most problem: sloooooooooooow

suggestion: to use the pulse 2.1....

within the system.img

build.prop writes

build.zip

And further more, is it possible for you guys to download this through the address below? please try.

http://u.115.com/file/t53f4d20a6

and click the middle button of the below three. (First needs specific software, last never try)

Further further, i found in the boot_versions.txt and upgradable_versions.txt the december update of T-mobile's code (U8220V100R001C85B118SP01)

which means we could just apply this UPDATA.APP? I'm not brave enough to try....

I started downloading this ROM this morning before I left for work. It was a very slow download (approximately 2 - 10 KB/s), but it has managed to download approximately 70MB so far.

I'm SSH'd into my home server and watching the download. As soon as it is completed, I'll upload it to my Linode server and then a few people can download it off there.

Probably be about an hour or so, but if anybody else already has it, maybe they could beat me to it?

Anyone try this out yet? I'm uploading it to mediafire for people who are still waiting for their download

EDIT: The mediafire upload stopped at 92%. I'll try again in a while if there's still a demand for it.

I wonder if this is because of the firmware update of the APP file. I've extracted the APP, and I'm wondering if I'll be able to rebuild it as a ZIP according to Bear's sticky... where's a bear or an obrien when you need one?

It would seem based on this release that a t-mob 2.1 can't be that far away. If that is the case there is no point flashing any other UPDATA updates and taking the risk of messing up our phones! What these releases are good for though is creating vanilla roms once (/if) we have the official t-mob update
