Add a Radio to a cooked ROM

I want to add the latest radio (32.37.00.32U_4.06.00.16_2) to an MCRr3.1 ROM but Paul's not got the option to add a radio update anymore - anyone know how you go about it? Or is this radio already in the ROM?

Flash it and see if it has the latest. If not just flash the radio update separately.

Does flashing wipe the existing radio, though? As the MCR doesn't have a radio in it. Or does it?

If the ROM contains a radio and it is scripted to wipe it, then it will wipe the existing radio.

If you flash a "radio update" ROM, that will update only the radio.

I'm downloading the r3.1 MCR to see if it contains a radio update. I'll let you know when it finishes.

Thanks, I've got an MCRr3.1 ROM down but don't know what I'm looking for in the script otherwise I'd have a look. I assume the script would need editing to include the writing of a radio included in the ROM would it not? I remember the MCRr2 having a radio in the root of the ZIP and the script must've had it in to write it

flash radio separately

download the zip from xda and copy to SD, flash zip it in recovery like the mcr rom, no wipe needed

I don't want that, I want a ROM with the radio in it - I know how to flash a radio on it's own as I've done that already

There's no radio in it. You could implement it yourself, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't know what you're doing.

Didn't think so, thanks...now hoping Paul can add the option back into the kitchen!
