T-Mobile Pulse 2.1 Software Upgrade Guide:

Please before installing the update, back up all your data stored, because they will be deleted during the upgrade! We are not responsible for any loss of data.

Do the update only with well charged battery or connect the charger during update! Do not remove the battery and the do not turn off the phone while flashing!

* 1 Copy the "dload" folder to SDcard from T-Mobile_Pulse_21_B815.zip.

* 2 Turn off your phone.

* 3 Turn off the device and press the red (end) + the volume up to + hold down the power button, and wait for the "Preparing to update ..." message.

* 4 At the end of the upgrading, device restarts.

* 5 After phone booted, copy the "dload" folder from T-Mobile_Pulse_21_B815\CUSTOMIZED_HU to SDcard, and overwrite the existing one. Turn off the device and press the red (end) + the volume up to + hold down the power button, and wait for the "Preparing to update ..." message.

* 6 At the end of the upgrading, device restarts.

What to do if the process does not restart at the end of the updat?

* 1 Remove and reinsert the battery, and continue the software update as described in section * 5.

Important! After installing the new software, the available free memory reduced to 40 MB (additional storage space stored in the device).

Important! You cant go back for the oldr 1.5 updat, after flashed this 2.1

Make sure no other dload folders are on the card too? I don't know what would happen if there was.

If you have another dload folder on the sd, delete it and follow the guide.

If i not install the Hungarian Custom dload, some icons missing, and menu shorcuts button go to the contacts. So its important to update it! You can choose your language after do that. MobileTV, and T-Mobile TopApps installed with this.

Google the Spritemobile Backup app :(

I would reccomend MyBackup which is a 30day trial so you cannot use it afterwards or TitaniumBackup which has a version that you can get if you donate but the free version has the feature to backup contacts as well as apps and their data so no need to pay unless you want the other features, which I dunno about.

Kolko ja znam i dec. update nije dosao kod nas, a ja sam svoj pulse poslao na servis sa novim updateom i niko nis nije rekao :(

Neznam, ja cu malo pricekat, da vidim kako ce se stvari razvijat...

But iirc titanium works only on rooted phones, so you won't be able to restore anything on the new rom until some1 roots it.

So does any one confirmed that this latest released ROM could work on our Pulse ?

As I heard of many failed on updating, yet I haven't flash it though I have completed the download last night.

All 2.1 rom have the same bootloader info, so you can updat to UK, US, SWE or any 2.1 rom, but cant back to any 1.5.
