Guest ultravox Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Well done. I will not install this one on my brothers phone 8 fow now at least hehe) but I'll order a new one on monday for my wife so that i can start playing with android. BTW, some of the post that i made on a portguese forum(unbelievable) were deleted, so I'll keep my attention here and also at android.pt This was a very good idea, we must keep the info about A1 organized and the less spread , the better.
Guest ultravox Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Can we get root access on U8230 V100R001C123B819SP01(Switzerland Sunrise) with the same procedure?

Guest arlindo.costa Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) Mee too... 2.1 is working like a charm. The Swiss ROM customizations are pretty cool too... Now if someone manages a ROM with A2SD ... :( Edited May 30, 2010 by arlindo.costa
Guest brickedMyHuaweiU8230 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) Porreiro, pá! edit: someone organize a post with 2.1 information, please? Edited May 30, 2010 by brickedMyHuaweiU8230
Guest zaskar2097 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) If I update my A1 to this Switzerland ROM, will it be possible to revert to the 1.5 stock ROM just using the same upgrade method (place it in the SD card) if needed? Also is this the best way to upgrade (follow the official instructions placing the updata file in the SD)? What about when (and if) an official TMN 2.1 ROM is released, will we be able to upgrade to that one? Thanks! Edited May 30, 2010 by zaskar2097
