Sprite Mobile Backup

Before I upgraded to 2.1, I did what I did with my pre-dec update: I used Sprite Backup to back up all my texts, app settings, etc etc.

Now, though, using the new version it's closing half-way through, not updating all my stuff, can't really tell if it's updated ANY of my stuff.

Anyone got the old APK file for version 1.4 or something? Or a program which can read the backup and restore it?

Knew I shoulda kept the old APK, but they say Pulse is supported, and they even support 2.2, nevermind 2.1, so I hoped it'd be fine.

I'm re-running it now trying to restore JUST my messages, see if that helps, but ideally I'd like the entire backup restored.

EDIT: I selected just my bookmarks and messages and it restored them, so I'm only losing the messages I got in between upgrading and restoring. (only 4 and I replied to them :()

Still no clue why it wouldn't restore whatever it wouldn't restore. Probably to do with the backup being 1.5 and it being 2.1 now.

where did you get sprite backup

i used it before i gave my pulse back to the shop for repair

just got it back and i upgraded to 2.1 and i can't find the app in the market any more ...

anyone got any ideas?

I've just done the same thing. Backuped up as usual with Sprite Backup on 1.5 stock and then upgraded my Pulse to official 2.1 and Sprite Backup isn't in the market! I can get an APK from their site but it wants a name and key which I don't have. Did anyone solve this problem? I've got no contacts!

No answer back from Sprite support which isn't very good :-/
