Need some help...

Guys,

Trying to root a HTC Desire (telstra) and finished the first step, but when I went to put into recovery mode it doesn't boot up with the triangle. It brings up the telstra screen and freezes. I can't seem to get it into recovery so I can run step two.

Can someone please give me some advise here.

I am running on Windows XP, r5 alt.

Reran Step 1 and that seemed to fix it.

that seems weird, try to clear storage and\or factory reset

Reran Step 1 and that seemed to fix it.

I had the same problem. If step 1 doesn't completely properly it wont flash the recovery :(
